Refund Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to subscriptionsDiscus Premiumsubscribed via the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). It should be read in conjunction with ourTerms of Serviceand ourPrivacy Policy.

2. Exclusive processing by the stores

Payments and refunds are processedexclusively by Apple and Google. Discus does not have access to your payment methods and cannot directly issue any financial refunds. Any refund request must therefore be addressed to the relevant store according to the procedure below.

3. Refund via Apple App Store (iOS)

To request a refund:

  1. Go toreportaproblem.apple.comand log in with your Apple ID.
  2. Select the relevant purchase and choose ‘Request a refund’.
  3. Apple reviews the request, usually within 48 hours.

Apple retains the discretion to accept or deny the request based on its own business conditions.

4. Refund via Google Play (Android)

To request a refund:

  1. Accessthe Google Play order history.
  2. Select the Discus subscription then ‘Request a refund’ or ‘Report a problem’.

Google offers an automatic refund within48 hoursfollowing the purchase for most transactions. Beyond that, the request is reviewed manually.

5. Subscription cancellation

You can cancel a subscription from your store settings:

  • iOS: Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions.
  • Android: Google Play › Subscriptions.

Canceling stops the automatic renewal at the next due date. It does not resultin a refund for the current period: you retain access until the end of the already paid period.

6. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

Under Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code and Directive (EU) 2011/83 on consumer rights, you have, as a consumer residing in the European Union, a period of14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without having to justify your decision.

Exception applicable to Discus Premium.In accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU and Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for the provision of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium as soon as its execution has begun with your express prior consent and you have expressly acknowledged losing your right of withdrawal. By starting to use the Service immediately after purchase, you expressly agree to waive your right of withdrawal.

This waiver is explicitly reminded at the time of subscription in our Terms of Use.

7. Exceptional Refunds

In case of a serious technical issue rendering the Service unusable (e.g., prolonged unavailability, major unresolved malfunction within a reasonable time), you can contactcontact@discussapp.com. Discus will review the situation on a case-by-case basis and may, if applicable, support your request with the relevant store. However, the final decision rests with Apple or Google.

8. Partial Refunds

Discus does not issue partial refunds.. Any subscription that has begun is considered used for the current period.
